The teams in first to sixth place after 52 match days will qualify directly for the quarterfinals. The teams in seventh to tenth place will play "best-of-3" pre-playoffs, with the seventh-placed team choosing whether to play the ninth or tenth-placed team. The winners of the two series complete the field of participants for the quarterfinals.

The quarterfinals, semifinals and final will be played in "best-of-7" mode. The team that has collect first four wins is one round further.

Für einen Sieg nach regulärer Spielzeit erhalten die Teams drei Punkte,
ein Erfolg in der Overtime bzw. im Penaltyschiessen zählt zwei Punkte.
Eine Niederlage in der Verlängerung bzw. im Shootout ist noch einen Punkt wert.

Per una vittoria nei tempi regolamentari la squadra vincente ottiene tre punti.
In caso di vittoria all´overtime o dopo i tiri di rigore due punti.
Una sconfitta all´overtime o ai rigori vale un punto.

Overtime regular season: 5 minutes
If, at the end of the three regular 20 minute periods, the score shall be tied, each team shall be awarded one point in the League standings.
The teams will then play an additional overtime period of not more than five minutes with the team scoring first declared the winner and awarded an additional point.
The overtime period will commence following a 1 minute break.
The overtime period shall be played with each team at a numerical strength of three skaters and one goalkeeper.

If at the end of the three regular twenty minutes periods of a non-elimination game and the two playing teams are tied, the teams will then play a 'sudden death' overtime period(s) of not more than 20 minutes with the team scoring first declared the winner.
The teams shall take a normal intermission (fifteen minutes) and resume playing twenty-minute periods (with a normal intermission each subsequent OT period), changing ends for the start of each overtime period.
The ice is to be resurfaced at the end of regulation time and after each additional 20-minute period.
The 1st 20-minute overtime period shall be played with each team at a numerical strength of five skaters and one goaltender.
The 2nd overtime period and remainder of overtime until a team scores, will be played with each team at a numerical strength of three skaters and one goaltender.

When a game is tied after three twenty (20) minute regular periods of play, the teams shall take a normal intermission (fifteen minutes) and resume playing twenty (20) minute periods (with a normal intermission each subsequent OT period), changing ends for the start of each overtime period.
The team scoring the first goal in overtime shall be declared the winner of the game.
The ice is to be resurfaced at the end of regulation time and after each additional 20-minute period.

Starting in the pre-playoff, if the score is tied after regular playing time, an endless overtime with sudden-death will be played.
In non-decision games, the number of field players will be reduced to three players plus one goalie per team after the first complete overtime of 20 minutes.
In deciding games, five-on-five shall be played until the winning goal is scored.
