AHL Phase 1: Regular season

18 teams, two full rounds (34 games per team)
The Alps Hockey League season 2019-20 is split in threeo phases.
In the regular season the teams play in two full rounds against each other - 34 games per team.
The first six teams qualify for the Master Round in the second phase and have already a guaranteed ticket for the AHL playoffs.
AHL Phase 2: Master & Qualification rounds

Die spielenden Vereine werden in drei Gruppen geteilt.
Master Round
1. bis 6. des Grunddurchgangs: einfache Hin- und Rückrunde.
The teams placed first to sixth of Phase 1 will play a round robin among each other to decide the placements for the playoffs.
The points from the regular season will not be taken along.
The first-placed team receives four bonus points, the second-placed team receives three bonus points,
the third-placed team receives two bonus points and the fourth-placed team receives one bonus point.
Teams placed in fifth and sixth after the regular season will not receive bonus points.
During the Master Round the top 6 teams play for the privilege to pick their quarterfinal opponent.
Qualifying Round A & B
7. bis 18. des Grunddurchgangs: einfache Hin- und Rückrunde.
The teams ranked on the places 7-18 are split in the second phase, the qualification round, into two groups of six teams each.
The points from the regular season will not be taken along.
The best-placed team of each group receives four bonus points, the second best receives three bonus points,
the third-best receives two bonus points and the next best team receives one bonus point.
The last four teams after the regular season will not receive any bonus point in each group.
The two winners of the qualification round groups assure the last tickets for the quarterfinals.

Der 1. Platzierte sucht sich einen Play-off Gegner aus (5. bis 8.).
Anschließend der Zweite, dann der Dritte und der Vierte.
Heimrecht hat jeweils der besser platzierte Verein der Zwischenrunde (Master round).
1/2 Finale (Best of five) dal-vom 24.3.2020 al-bis max 2.4.2020
Hier spielen die Sieger des Viertelfinales.
Heimrecht hat jeweils der besser platzierte Verein der Zwischenrunde.
Finale (Best of seven) dal-vom 4.4.2020 al-bis max 16.4.2020
Die beiden Sieger des Halbfinales bestreiten das Finale.
Heimrecht hat jeweils der besser platzierte Verein der Zwischenrunde.
